Openai delivered its criticized browser this week.It's called Chatgpt Atlas and as you might have guessed, it comes with a lot of built-in chatgpt.And since it's one of the most popular (if not the most) AIS and currently the Mac exclusive browser, I can't help but surround myself with it.
It is a browser that, as I told you, surprised me a lot and made it even better.I still don't know to what extent it can be revolutionary, but the fact that it does not promise to be revolutionary and the invention of new interfaces for it forces me to seriously consider whether it is worth "keeping" or not.

In addition to the extra features that a browser may or may not have, it's about the navigation itself. And in that regard, I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how well ChatGPT Atlas works.
It feels like an extremely lightweight browser when browsing any type of website.Everything loads quickly and I haven't seen a single problem so far.Even some work sites can have problems and make me not even use Apple's mighty Safari.
OpenAI has not explained what engine they used to build this browser, but all indications are that it is based on Chrome.It doesn't say anywhere, but as confirmed by our colleagues at Xataka, there are indications that it's version 141 of Chromium.
